Denmark Bans Crowds Larger Than 10 People, Closes Restaurants
(Bloomberg) -- Denmark will ban gatherings larger than 10 people and will close the country’s restaurants and bars to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
The government will start talks with the opposition on additional financial aid to the affected companies, Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said in briefing on Tuesday in Copenhagen.
The ban also covers shopping malls, cafes, night clubs and company activity where people are close to each other, including tattoo parlors and massage clinics. The ban will take effect Wednesday and last until March 30.
