(Bloomberg) -- Joe Biden leads the second national poll of Democratic contenders released in two days, followed by Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Pete Buttigieg.

Biden has support from 28% of registered Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents, according to a new CNN survey. The former vice president is followed by Senators Sanders at 17% and Warren with 14%. South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Buttigieg won 11% -- the first time in CNN’s poll that he’s captured double-digit support.

Despite a newly expanded primary field, no other candidate scored 4%, the qualifying threshold for the Democratic National Committee’s December debate. Four candidates stood at 3%: Senator Kamala Harris, businessmen Tom Steyer and Andrew Yang, and the latest entrant in the race, Michael Bloomberg. The former New York mayor is the founder and majority owner of Bloomberg LP, the parent company of Bloomberg News.

Biden also retook the top spot in a Quinnipiac University national poll released Tuesday, with 24% support among Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents, up from 21% in October, when Warren led with 28%. Warren, whose steady rise in the polls has shifted into reverse amid attacks from her Democratic rivals over her Medicare for All plan, dropped to 14% in the latest survey, statistically tied with Sanders and Buttigieg.

The CNN Poll of registered Democrats or Democratic-leaning voters was conducted Nov. 21-24 and has a margin of error of plus-or-minus 5.7 percentage points.
