(Bloomberg) -- A renewed focus on racial equality sparked by George Floyd’s death is costing some executives their jobs. CrossFit’s CEO is the latest. Meanwhile Black Lives Matter has arrived in the entertainment industry, forcing a reckoning over whether some of the iconic titles that networks and streaming services paid millions to rebroadcast are worth having at all anymore. The White House reportedly warned mass protests could hurt the virus fight. Floyd, meanwhile, was mourned in his childhood home of Houston on Tuesday. Following the funeral, Floyd’s golden casket was taken by hearse to a nearby cemetery, where he was to be entombed next to his late mother he cried out for in his final breaths.
