Water Resources Secretary Given Additional Charge In Ministry Of Labour And Employment

Singh is currently serving as the Secretary of Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation.

Water Resources Secretary Upendra Prasad Singh has been given the additional charge of the Secretary, Ministry of Labour and Employment from Monday, an official order said.

Singh, a 1985 batch IAS officer of Odisha cadre, is currently serving as the Secretary of Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation.

“The competent authority has approved assignment of additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Labour and Employment to Upendra Prasad Singh..., Secretary, Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation from Aug. 12-17 during the period of absence on leave of Heera Lal Samariya,” the official order said.
