Kenyan Electoral Agency Denies Report That CEO Has Been Fired
(Bloomberg) -- Kenya’s Independent Electoral & Boundaries Commission denied a report it fired Chief Executive Officer Ezra Chiloba, according to a Twitter post.
The Star, a Nairobi-based newspaper, reported earlier on Tuesday that IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati and two commissioners fired Chiloba.
It is not true that CEO Ezra Chiloba, who is on suspension, has been dismissed from employment. What is true is that the disciplinary process is on-going and the Commission will make an objective decision on the matter.
