Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a little visitor at his 7 Lok Kalyan Marg residence on Wednesday Night. The visitor, only a year old, had trotted in with his parents and immediately caught the attention of the Prime Minister, who greeted him with a handshake.

Obviously, Modi had to bow down to the toddler’s level, but it was nothing new to the latter. The toddler we’re talking about is the prince of Bhutan and was brought in by Bhutan’s King and Queen.

While the King of Bhutan, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, and the Queen, Jetsun Pema, spoke with PM Modi, it was their son who stole the show. The little prince received his share of adulation from Modi, when the PM fished out a football from the FIFA U-17 World Cup and handed it to the prince.

The prince, having recovered from the distractions of the PMO, happily received the football.
