A marathon not just tests fitness and endurance, but also mental fortitude. Avid marathoner Gaurav Raikar is aware of this, and wants to take up the ultimate challenge. The 34-year-old, who resides in Mumbai, wants to run the six World Marathon Majors.

The majors are to marathons as the Grand Slams are to tennis. Winning any one of the six grueling races would be a dream come true, while completing them a major achievement.

But Raikar knows that just training his body and mind won’t be enough, he also needs to save money to fund his travel and stay in Japan, Germany, England, and the U.S.
