Weinstein Jury Ends Third Day of Deliberation With No Verdict

(Bloomberg) -- The jury in Harvey Weinstein’s sexual assault trial ended its third day of deliberations without reaching a verdict.

The judge said the jury would end its work tomorrow at 3 p.m. Earlier in the day, the jury had asked for the second day in a row to review testimony from the actor Annabella Sciorra, who says the movie producer raped her in the 1990s.

Weinstein, 67, was charged in the alleged attacks of two other women and faces five counts, including rape and a criminal sexual act. He could spend the rest of his life in prison if convicted of the most serious charge involving Sciorra’s testimony -- predatory sexual assault. Weinstein says any sexual encounters were consensual.
