UAE Ministers to Arrive in Israel for First Visit on Tuesday

The United Arab Emirates’ finance and economy ministers will arrive in Israel on Tuesday, their first visit since the countries last month agreed to normalize relations.

The economy minister is expected to sign a trade cooperation pact, while the finance minister should ink an agreement on investment protection.

An Emirati business delegation headed by Khadim Al Darei, vice chairman and co-founder of Al Dahra Agriculture Co., has already visited Israel, state-run WAM reported on Monday.

Al Dahra was invited by Netafim, an Israeli irrigation equipment and water technologies provider. The firms agreed to open a regional office in the UAE to carry out studies. Al Dahra also signed partnership accords with three other Israeli companies.
