(Bloomberg) -- The jump in monthly tariff revenue in recent months has more than offset declining transfer payments from the Federal Reserve system, according to U.S. Treasury data.
The Treasury brought in a record $5.551 billion in tariff revenue in October while deposits of earnings from the Federal Reserve fell to $4.541 billion. Last October, customs duties receipts were $3.239 billion.
