(Bloomberg) -- President Donald Trump declared that a major disaster exists in the State of New York and ordered federal assistance to be given to the state to aid local recovery efforts in areas impacted by the coronavirus outbreak.
The move will unlock federal funding for New York state, the White House office of the press secretary said in a statement.
