Spain reported 217 new coronavirus deaths in the last 24 hours, the biggest jump since May 8. Total fatalities rose to 27,321, according to the Health ministry data published Thursday.
New infections increased by 506 to 229,540. The total number of cases was adjusted to reflect changes in data for the Madrid region.
