SocGen Finance Head Kadouch-Chassaing to Leave After 14 Years

Societe Generale SA’s deputy general manager and head of finance, William Kadouch-Chassaing, is set to leave after 14 years at the French bank.

Kadouch-Chassaing, who was appointed to his latest position in September 2020, will join investment firm Eurazeo SE as finance chief, people familiar with the move said. SocGen will announce his resignation on Thursday morning before the French stock market opens, the people said, asking for anonymity because the move isn’t public yet.

A spokesperson for SocGen declined to comment. The Paris-based lender is also expected to release third-quarter earnings on Thursday morning.

After starting his career as an academic and a civil servant, Kadouch-Chassaing joined JPMorgan in 1996 as a market economist and strategist. He joined SocGen in 2007 as a senior banker for the investment banking unit.
