Payday Loan Mogul Ordered to Pay $3.5 Billion, Turn in Ferraris
(Bloomberg) -- Scott Tucker, the former race-car driver convicted of running an illegal payday loan empire, was ordered to pay the U.S. government $3.5 billion. U.S. District Judge Kevin Castel, who sentenced Tucker to almost 17 years in prison last month, also said Tucker must turn over six Ferraris, four Porsches and a Learjet.
