(Bloomberg) -- New York Attorney General Barbara Underwood opened an investigation into a hack of the guest reservation database at Marriott International Inc.’s Starwood unit, her communications director Amy Spitalnick said Friday.
"Under New York law, Marriott was required to provide notification to our office upon discovering the breach; they have not done so as of yet," Spitalnick said in an email.
