Netanyahu to Make Statement, May Say He Seeks Immunity, TV Says

(Bloomberg) -- Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has indefinitely postponed a statement he had scheduled for Monday evening.

Reporters for two major television stations had said earlier the prime minister may announce he’ll seek parliamentary immunity from prosecution. He has been charged in three corruption cases.

“The prime minister’s statement has been postponed and won’t take place this evening,” a Likud party spokeswoman said in a text message, without offering an explanation.
