Manhattan Art Consultant Avoids Prison for Hiding Cash Abroad

(Bloomberg) -- A former New York art consultant who hid more than $3.7 million of her late father’s estate in Swiss bank accounts avoided prison for tax evasion. A U.S. judge in Manhattan Monday sentenced Lacy Doyle to four years’ probation, with eight months of home confinement, rejecting a government request to send her to jail for a few months.
