Lululemon Scraps Yoga Classes, Limits Hours Due to Coronavirus

(Bloomberg) -- Lululemon Athletica Inc. has canceled yoga classes and is limiting store hours at its North American locations due to the coronavirus.

North American outlets will be open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily beginning Monday, the Vancouver-based yoga-wear maker said in a statement. Store-based events and gatherings, which include yoga classes and running clubs, have been canceled, effective immediately.

Employees will still receive pay for all hours they’ve been scheduled to work, the company said. It also introduced a relief pay plan that provides 14 days of salary protection for anyone battling Covid-19, as well as those who need time to self-quarantine or find their lives disrupted during this time.
