Jersey City Has First Case of Coronavirus, Mayor Says

(Bloomberg) -- The New Jersey cities of Hoboken and Jersey City both reported their first cases of the new coronavirus.

A 41-year-old woman from downtown Jersey City tested positive after visiting her own physician, Mayor Steve Fulop said in a statement on Friday.

Hoboken Mayor Rvai Bhalla said a man in his 40s also tested positive. He is experiencing mild symptoms and is in self-isolation at home.
