Italy Education Minister: No Decision on School Closure Yet

(Bloomberg) -- “There is no closure. We have asked for an opinion from the scientific committee on whether schools should be left open or closed in proportion with the epidemiological scenario in the country,” Italy’s education minister, Lucia Azzolina, tells reporters in Rome.

Newswire Ansa earlier reported that Italy would shut schools nationwide until mid-March to curb the spread of the coronavirus epidemic.
