Israel to Craft Steps This Week to Exit Virus Lockdown

(Bloomberg) -- Israel’s government will this week formulate a strategy to slowly revive economic activity battered by the coronavirus outbreak, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.

The steps the government will take will be “slow and responsible,” Netanyahu said in a televised address on late Monday. In the meantime, Netanyahu said inter-city travel will be banned from Tuesday evening to Thursday morning to limit family gatherings at the end of the Jewish Passover holiday.
