(Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg Economics’ GDP tracker suggests the global recovery continued apace in August, yet there are doubts whether the sanguine picture will persist moving into the fall. Most of the easy gains from the re-opening have been banked and governments are struggling to keep the virus at bay -- the hard yards in the recovery lie ahead.
