Former SocGen Executive Droumenq Takes Role at Gladius Capital

(Bloomberg) -- Thomas Droumenq, who until late last year was the head of global markets sales for the Americas at Societe Generale SA, is moving to Gladius Capital Management LP.

Droumenq will take on the newly created role of head of corporate development and strategy at Gladius, which offers investment strategies for institutional investors within the derivatives and volatility space, he said in an email. He will be based in Connecticut and will report to founder and Chief Executive Officer Pavandeep Sethi.

“Gladius is at an inflection point where they have proven their business model and built a solid track record and following of investors,” said Droumenq, who had joined SocGen in 1996, according to his LinkedIn profile, and held roles including head of equities and equity derivatives for the Americas at the bank.
