(Bloomberg) -- Tourism has been among the biggest economic victims of the pandemic, but the virus has also forced an awareness of the effects industries from power generation to air travel have had on the environment. As Mother Nature enjoys a record drop in greenhouse gas emissions, policy makers in Asia are exploring how they can hold onto those gains long after Covid-19 has passed. That’ll mean some tough sustainability rules for a critical tourism sector that’s struggling to rebound.
