Colorado Resorts Extend Skiing With Big Snow Possible
(Bloomberg) -- There’s fresh powder in the forecast in the Rockies.
Vail Resorts Inc. will extend skiing at Colorado’s Beaver Creek Resort and Keystone Resorts until April 11 and Vail Mountain Resort until April 18, the company announced Tuesday.
The timing couldn’t be better for the promotion to thank skiers for their support, said Lindsay Hogan, a company spokeswoman.
The National Weather Service is forecasting what could develop into a substantial storm late this week and into the weekend.
Breckenridge Ski Resort is maintaining a projected closing date of May 31 and Crested Butte Mountain Resort is scheduled to close April 4, the company said.
