California Monitoring 8,400 for Coronavirus, Newsom Says

(Bloomberg) -- California, site of the first known coronavirus infection not associated with previous outbreaks, is monitoring 8,400 people for signs of exposure after they traveled to China, Governor Gavin Newsom said Thursday.
