Botswana President Quarantines as Aide Tests Positive for Virus

Botswana President Mokgweetsi Masisi started 14 days of quarantine after an official tested positive for coronavirus.

The president started the quarantine Wednesday night after “an official closely serving him” tested positive for the virus, according to a statement emailed by the Office of the President.

This is the fourth time that Masisi has had to go into quarantine since the southern African country recorded its first Covid-19 case on March 30.
