Bologna-Florence Train Line Closed for Checks After Earthquake

(Bloomberg) -- Rail traffic, including high-speed lines, was closed between Italian cities of Florence and Bologna on Monday following an overnight earthquake in the region.

Lines were shut for safety checks, rail operator Ferrovie dello Stato said on its website.

The quake, centered in the hillside town of Mugello near Florence, registered a 5.2 magnitude, according to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center.
