(Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg Economics’ Bank of England Spectrometer suggests the Monetary Policy Committee will most likely vote unanimously for the fifth successive meeting to keep interest rates on hold at Thursday’s meeting -- that would likely shift financial market expectations of no rate hikes in 2019. Still, there’s a chance of a dissent from the most hawkish member, Michael Saunders, and an outside bet that Andy Haldane joins him. Assuming a Brexit deal is reached, BE forecasts the next rate hike will come this May, with another six months later.
