BlackRock Boosts Larry Fink’s Pay 5% to $25.3 Million for Last Year

(Bloomberg) -- BlackRock Inc., the world’s biggest asset manager, awarded Chief Executive Officer Larry Fink $25.3 million in compensation for 2019, a 5% increase from the previous year.

Chief Operating Officer Rob Goldstein received a 25% bump to $9.85 million, the biggest percentage increase among the firm’s five top executives listed in a proxy filing Thursday.

The figures reflect a year that finished on an upbeat note for the New York-based company, which oversaw $7.4 trillion at the end of December. BlackRock brought in $429 billion in net new business in 2019, more than three times its haul in the previous year.
