Prosecutor Says Manafort Cooperating, Though Extent Is Unclear

(Bloomberg) -- Paul Manafort is providing some level of cooperation to U.S. authorities, a prosecutor working with Special Counsel Robert Mueller said during his plea hearing. The extent of his assistance is unclear.

Andrew Weissmann, a federal prosecutor working with Mueller’s investigation into Russian election meddling, said that the government wouldn’t decide whether to drop some charges against Manafort until his successful cooperation or sentencing is complete.
