London Mayor Says Union Suspends Strike on Piccadilly Tube Line

(Bloomberg) -- London’s Piccadilly line will be operating normally now that the RMT union has decided to suspend the planned strike between July 11 and July 14, Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has notified the public in a Twitter post.

The Mayor made the announcement hours before the strike was due to start from 9 p.m. local time today. U.S. President Donald Trump is scheduled to visit the U.K. on July 13.
