HPE's Meg Whitman to Step Down as CEO; Neri to Replace Her

(Bloomberg) -- Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. said Chief Executive Officer Meg Whitman will step down on Feb. 1, and will be succeeded by President Antonio Neri.

Whitman, who became CEO in September 2011 and is among the most high-profile women in the technology industry, will remain on the board, Hewlett Packard Enterprise said Tuesday in a statement.
