(Bloomberg) -- EU Commission ex-president Manuel Barroso’s decision to work for Goldman Sachs is “totally inappropriate,” EU Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs Pierre Moscovici said Thursday.
Barroso’s plan to join a bank that was embroiled in Europe’s financial crisis poses an “ethical problem,” Moscovici said on France’s Radio Classique.
