People will return to fundamentals-driven equity investing once the decibel levels around the U.S. elections die down, according to Vikas Khemani. And fundamentals, said the founder of Carnelian Capital, doesn’t warrant any pessimism.

Khemani said the loose monetary policy is here to stay, irrespective of which party comes to power in the U.S. While admitting that he wasn’t an expert on the subject, Khemani said it won’t be as easy to hike corporate taxes in America as is widely believed, if Biden comes to power. He picked manufacturing and technology as themes to bet on in the current environment.
