SGX Nifty indicates a flat start to trade

The Singapore traded SGX Nifty, an early indicator of Nifty’s performance in India, was little changed at 9,399.

Here are the stocks to watch out for in today’s session:

IDBI Bank

  • ICRA downgrades outstanding debt worth Rs 25,924 crore, citing weak capital position
  • CRISIL had downgraded the bonds earlier this month
  • ICRA cuts rating for nearly Rs 2,500 crore worth of AT-1 bonds to BBB- indicating that they are at a risk of default

HCC

  • Special Planning Authority (SPA) status of Lavasa Corporation Ltd., the real estate arm of the company has come to an end
  • Decision taken after Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis extended the jurisdiction of the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA)
  • Company to spell out stand once it receives official communication, a statement said.

AIA Engineering

  • Magotteaux International (Belgium) initiated arbitral proceedings against company and its Managing Director Bhadresh Shah at the International Chamber of Commerce
  • In its request for initiating arbitration, the amount in the dispute is approximately $60 million including costs and damages, according to Magotteaux
  • Company and Magotteaux had executed a settlement deed on February 16, 2000 on termination of Joint Venture and Shareholder agreement between them
Company disputes this request and denies the allegations made therein and is confident of successfully defending the matter in accordance with the law.
