Indian shares rose to record levels as the government's focus on speeding up its vaccination program spurs confidence the economy can bounce back more quickly from the pandemic. The S&P BSE Sensex rose 0.7% to record 52,232.43, while NSE Nifty 50 Index climbed by a similar amount to 15,690.35, also an all-time high.

• Lupin: Launched the authorised generic version of Brovana (arformoterol tartrate) Inhalation Solution 15 mcgꝉ/2 mL in the U.S.
