Here are the stocks to watch in trade today.

Asian stocks consolidated at the open Tuesday amid end-of-month portfolio adjustments. The dollar extended losses. Stocks fell in Japan, and rose in Australia and South Korea. S&P 500 futures edged higher.

Here are the stocks to watch in trade today:

  • SBI has shut down six floors in corporate headquarters on Sept. 25 after detection of a few Covid-19 cases. SBI to follow board approved business continuity plan and floors likely to be reopened on Sept. 29 after following sanitisation procedure. Top management to see full attendance from Sept. 29; other officials to attend on alternate days.
  • BPCL: Capex for fiscal 2021 seen at Rs 8,000 crore as the diesel consumption is still below pre-Covid 19 levels and petrol consumption is almost close. Government is trying to complete privatization by the end of this fiscal 2021. Decision on sale of treasury stocks likely by Oct. 15 via a bulk or block deal. Expecting new Kochi gasoline unit to end shortage by next year. Company is in talks with Bharat Oman Refinery for acquiring remaining stake in the venture. Gross refining margins for the second quarter of the current fiscal, is expected to be superior on a sequential basis. Oil India-Engineers India interested to buy Numaligarh Refinery.
  • Moodyʼs has downgraded IIFL Financeʼs corporate family rating to B2 from B1, senior secured debt rating to B2 from B1. The rating outlook has been changed to stable from rating under review. The downgrade of ratings reflects Moodyʼs expectation that companyʼs asset quality and profitability will deteriorate as loan delinquencies and defaults increase. This weakening will be driven by declining earnings and cash flow at its customers due to the deep coronavirus-led economic contraction.
  • Infosys and process mining player Minit have signed an agreement to deliver digital solutions.
  • Cosmo Films has launched BOPP fragranced packaging films.
  • Balaji Telefilms: Board has approved liquidation of company’s arm Chhayabani Balaji Entertainment.
  • Shalby: Board approved issuing equity shares, convertible securities up to Rs 117.02 crore. Shareholders passed an enabling resolution to reduce promoter’s holding from 79.45% to 75% to comply with SEBI’s minimum public shareholding norms.
  • Anuh Pharma has received approval from WHO-Geneva for prequalification for pyrimcthamine APl which is used as anti-malarial drugs.
  • India Grid Trust has completed the acquisition of 74% stake of Jhajjar KT Transco from Kalpataru Power Transmission and Techno Electric & Engineering for an enterprise value of Rs 310 crore.
  • Central Bank of India: Board has approved allotment of 16.58 crore shares aggregating to Rs 254 crore to qualified institutional buyers.
  • Symphony has launched universal packaged air-coolers for industrial and commercial applications.
  • Jagran Prakashan has subscribed rights issue in its whooly owned arm Mid-day Infomedia for Rs 8 crore.
  • KPI Global Infra: Board approved proposal of the migration of equity shares of the company from SME Platform of BSE to the Main Board of BSE.
  • Prataap Snacks: Board has deferred proposal of amalgamation of its two wholly owned arms with self.
