Here are the stocks to watch in trade today.

Asian stocks opened modestly in the green as investors weighed signs of economies continuing to reopen against the need for further stimulus down the road.

Shares in Japan, South Korea and Australia edged up, with gains shallower than overnight in the Wall Street session.

The Singapore-traded SGX Nifty, an early indicator of NSE Nifty 50 Index’s performance in India, fell 0.15 percent to 9,071 as of 6:40 a.m.

Here are the stocks to watch in trade today:

  • Aviation Stocks: Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri stated that domestic civil aviation operations to recommence in a calibrated manner from May 25. All airports & air carriers are being informed to be ready for operations from May 25. Standard of procedures for passenger movement are also being separately issued by the ministry.
  • Monsanto India: Delhi High Court has dismissed plea by Monsanto to quash investigation initiated by the Competition Commission of India against the company in February 2016. The investigation against Monsanto was initiated by the CCI over a complaint which alleged abuse of dominant position by Monsanto in manufacture and sale of BT Cotton seeds in India.
  • Tata Motors: Board approved offering for subscription of NCDs aggregating to Rs 1,000 crore, on a private placement basis.
  • Blue Star: CARE Ratings reaffirmed credit rating for long term and short term credit facilities at AA+ but the rating outlook has been revised from Stable to Negative due to temporary shutdown of manufacturing facilities, and expected lower demand of consumer durables in the near to medium term as a consequence of the lockdown imposed due to COVID-19 pandemic. The outlook may be revised to ‘Stable’ in case of faster than anticipated recovery in demand resulting in sustained improvement in the Company’s business and financial risk profile.
  • Dr Reddy’s Laboratories: Board has re-appointed G V Prasad as co-chairman and managing director of the company January 2026.
  • Adani Enterprises has raised Rs 400 crore via NCDs.
  • Kalpataru Power Transmission: Board approved buyback of upto 72.72 lakh shares (4.7 percent of paid up equity capital) at a maximum price of Rs 275 per share, aggregating to Rs 200 crore. Buy back price is at a premium of 43 percent to the closing prices as on May 20. Company said that it has received new orders of Rs 909 crore in the current fiscal year till date. Board approved proposal to raise Rs 300 crore via NCD issue.
  • Deepak Ferilisers & Chemicals to consider rights share issue on May 25.

  • Revenue down 8.2 percent at Rs 6,816 crore (Est Rs 6,481 crore)
  • Net profit flat at Rs 1,310 crore versus Rs 1,306 crore (Est Rs 991 crore)
  • EBITDA up 2.1 percent at Rs 1,253 crore (Est Rs 1,025 crore)
  • Margins at 18.4 percent versus 16.5 percent (Est 15.8 percent)
  • Better then estimated numbers aided by International business
