Here are the stcks to watch in trade today.

Indian equity markets ended higher for the fourth straight session, spurred by positive global sentiment, even as the verdict of the U.S. Presidential elections hangs in the balance. The S&P BSE Sensex ended 1.8% - or 740 points higher at 41,355. The index turned positive for the year, surpassing the level of 41,253. The NSE Nifty 50 index too ended 1.8% higher at 12,120. The 50 stock index is 48 points away from turning positive for 2020.

Here are the stocks to watch in trade today:

  • Reliance Industries: Saudi PIF has invested Rs 9,555 crore (2.04% equity stake) in Reliance Retail Ventures. This investment values Reliance Retail Ventures at a pre-money equity value of Rs 4.587 lakh crore.
  • Adani Green Energy’s arm Adani Solar Energy Jodhpur Two has commissioned its 50 MW Solar Power Project as an Independent Power Producer for sale of power to third parties or on power exchange.
  • Greaves Cotton: Amit Mittal resigned as CFO with effect from Nov. 5 due to personal reasons.
  • Minda Corp to allot 1.19 crore shares at Rs 70 per share aggregating to Rs 83 crore on a preferential basis to PHI Capital Trust.
  • Inox Lesiure: Board approved raising Rs 250 crore via equity or other securities.
  • JSPL: Sarda Mines can resume operations after paying fine of Rs 5 lakh to Odisha government, which means JSPL can lift iron ore from SMPL post this fine payment.
  • Cupid to expand its manufacturing base to medical diagnostic test which included Rapid diagnostics tests and ELISA tests, both for domestic markets and exports.

  • Revenue up 9% at Rs 1,742.6 crore
  • Net profit up 13.3% at Rs 220.9 crore
  • Ebitda up 33.5% at Rs 335.2 crore
  • Margins at 19.2% versus 15.7%
  • Margins improve due to lower raw material costs

Adani Power Q2 (Consolidated, YoY)

  • Revenue up 31% at Rs 7,749.2 crore
  • Net profit at Rs 2,228.1 crore versus Rs 3.9 crore
  • Ebidta up 3 times at Rs 4,042.6 crore
  • Margins at 52.2% versus 22.8%
  • Lower fuel costs, lower transmission charges and higher realisation impact margins
  • Net profit impacted by higher other income
