Hedge-fund manager David Fiszel said he’s betting on companies that support freelancers.

Fiszel, once a Point72 Asset Management money manager, cited Fiverr International Ltd. as among companies offering opportunities to “creators,” along with Adobe Inc., which makes software used by such freelancers. Fiszel also said he prefers to stay at the “fat part of the bell curve” by choosing software companies over Tesla Inc. and cryptocurrencies, two holdings favored by Ark investment Management’s Cathie Wood.
