Bitcoin Retreats After Weekend Rally to Record of Nearly $50,000
(Bloomberg) -- Bitcoin slid on Monday after a weekend rally that took the largest cryptocurrency to an all-time high of almost $50,000.
The digital token dropped as much as 6.1% to $45,893, paring its advance so far this year to about 60%. Signs that the financial industry may widen its embrace of Bitcoin fueled the weekend jump.
