Asian stocks and U.S. equity futures rose Tuesday as traders weighed the resilience of the global recovery to tightening monetary policy.

Shares advanced in Japan, Australia and South Korea, shrugging off a reversal on Wall Street on Monday in the last hour of trading as technology stocks such as Meta Platforms Inc. struggled. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index declined as Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. shares traded in the U.S. tumbled.

The Singapore-traded SGX Nifty, an early indicator of India's Nifty 50 Index’s performance, rose 0.25% to 17,257.50 as of 7:15 a.m.

Elswhere, Oil’s rally took a breather. In cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin held gains and was trading around $44,000.

  • Cogent E-Services has filed IPO papers with SEBI. The company’s offer consists of fresh issue of equity shares worth Rs 150 crore and an OFS of up to 94.68 lakh shares by existing shareholders, according to the draft red herring prospectus. The company may consider a private placement of shares aggregating up to Rs 30 crore.

  • Vedant Fashions’ IPO was subscribed 21% on second day.

  • Sundaram Finance: The company declared interim dividend of Rs 10 per share on the paid-up capital of Rs 111.1 crore represented by 11,11,03,860 equity shares of Rs 10 each.

  • Hindustan Construction: The company has defaulted on loans of Rs 2,282.25 crore as on Jan. 31.
