Real estate stocks are increasing looking attractive in an otherwise hard to find cheap bets market, according to Prateek Agarwal, chief investment officer at ASK Investment Advisors. “That is if you believe builders are managing to and will sell more houses going forward.”

The S&P BSE Sensex has shed 10 percent since hitting an all-time high on Jan 29, 2018. Agarwal said investments in other asset classes can certainly be considered, especially with the reintroduction of the long-term capital gains tax in the Union Budget this year.

"Bond yields have shot up from where they were over last two months and they do present attractive risk returns compared to equities," Agarwal said.
