Russia Praises Its $117 Million-a-Day Oil Man in Davos: Chart

(Bloomberg) -- Russia is the biggest winner from the oil-cuts pact with OPEC and the nation knows exactly who to thank. Energy Minister Alexander Novak is the man who’s brought Russia “a lot of” additional revenues, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said in Davos on Wednesday. Russia gained about an extra $117 million a day last year from the deal, according to estimates by the International Energy Agency, topping the $98 million a day that went to its main rival and partner, Saudi Arabia.
