Economics, Not Politics, To Dominate 2018, Says Ambit’s Saurabh Mukherjea 

Ambit Capital expects expects double-digit growth in the next financial year.

Economics, not politics, will decide market direction in 2018. That’s the view coming in from Saurabh Mukherjea, CEO of Ambit Capital.

“The economic growth in India and across the globe will lead to more participation in the equity markets,” Mukherjea told BloombergQuint in an interview.

He said the market is now getting ready for the final flurry of the bull market. “We will finally see a pick up in the earnings growth.” He expects double-digit growth in the next financial year.
