Meghmani Organics Plans Rs 540 Crore Capex To Boost Basic Chemical Segment

Meghmani Organics’ basic chemical capacity utilisation stands at 85 percent.

Meghmani Organics Ltd. plans to utilise Rs 540 crore to strengthen its basic chemical business, Managing Director Natu Patel said.

The company will increase its caustic soda production and setup a chloromethane plant, Patel told BloombergQuint in an interview. At present, the company’s basic chemical capacity utilisation stands at 85 percent, he said.
