Unseasonal Rains, GST Price Hikes Drag Wonderla Holidays’ Q2 Earnings

Wonderla Holidays’ net profit declined 38% year-on-year to Rs 2.3 crore during the July-September period.

Unseasonal rains and the price hikes on account of the Goods and Services Tax impacted Wonderla Holidays Ltd.’s earnings during the September ended quarter, Managing Director Arun Chittilappilly told BloombergQuint. The amusement park operator’s net profit declined 37.58 percent year-on-year to Rs 2.3 crore during that period.
