You Can Soon Trade In Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook Futures In India

NSE IFSC also introduced three additional currency pairs for trading.

National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. introduced futures and options contracts in 15 global stocks, including Google’s parent Alphabet Inc., online marketplace Amazon.com Inc., and social networking giant Facebook Inc.

Trading in the futures and options contracts will begin in the exchange’s subsidiary NSE IFSC Ltd. from July 24, according to a circular released on Friday.

The exchange will also offer futures and options trading in three additional currency pairs:

  • Japanese yen- U.S. dollar
  • Switzerland franc-U.S. dollar
  • Australian dollar-U.S. dollar

NSE IFSC started operations at the Gujarat International Finance Tec-City in Gandhinagar in June. Rival BSE Ltd.’s India International Exchange is also located at the GIFT City special economic zone.
