SGX Nifty indicates a weak start to trade

The Singapore traded SGX Nifty, an early indicator of Nifty’s performance in India, fell 0.2 percent to 9,617.

Here are the stocks to watch out for in today’s session:

  • Pfizer: Acquired 'Neksium' brand from AstraZeneca for Rs 75 crore
  • BPCL, HPCL, Indian Oil Corp.: Petrol prices hiked by Rs 1.23 per litre while diesel prices hiked by Rs 0.89 per litre
  • MOIL: Company increases prices by 10 percent
  • Bharat Gears: To avail a term loan of Rs 110 crore from KKR India Financial Services to repay its existing term debts, working capital requirements and capital expenditure
  • IVRCL: Joint Lenders Forum approached by an investor with a non-binding offer to acquire stake in the company. Company believes that the lenders have been approached by an investor pursuant to SDR provisions stipulated by the RBI
  • JK Paper: To issue equity shares worth 2.4 million Euros against FCCBs
  • Future Market Networks: To acquire 50 percent stake in Future Retail Destination Ltd. from IL&FS Township and Urban Assets Ltd. for a total consideration of Rs 14 crore
  • Kolte Patil: Completes Phase I of its 'Three Jewels' project in Pune. 812 apartments are ready for posession

Vadilal Industries

  • Ashish Kacholia bought 38,750 stake or 0.5 percent stake for Rs 790.39 each
  • Kacholia's total holding in the company increases to 5.8 percent from 5.3 percent
  • Nisarg Vakharia sold 1 lakh shares or 1.4 percent stake for Rs 795.8 each
